The Navajo and Blackfoot
The Navajo’s and the Blackfoot’s diet is very similar. Both tribes ate corn, beans, squash, melons and pumpkins. Both tribes most important plant was, my favorite, corn/maize. Yummm. Navajo also grew fruit and ate sheep. The Blackfoot grew tobacco too. Also, they both were farmers, hunters, and gatherers. The Navajo hunted on horseback. The Blackfoot were so grateful for their food that they had two ceremonies every year.

Fun Facts
The Navajo tended sheep using them for both food and clothing
The Blackfoot were extremely grateful to have the food they grew so they had two ceremonies every year, one when they planted and one when the harvested
